Tito Pérez Mora works from personal experience, with intimacy as a source of analysis, where he poses questions to try to find answers; as therapy, as catharsis. An intimate work, linked to his own life experience. The processes constitute his main line of research, finding in these unfinished spaces, ends and conclusions in themselves, always with a clear vocation of an inner journey, understanding this as a personal process of constant search. The need to delve into memory, her own memory, and how to work from it is a constant; a way of rediscovering and reconstructing those intimate experiences, trying to take a position and be in the world today. His work has been shown in several solo and group exhibitions, at CAAM_Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno de Las Palmas, Centro de Cultura Contemporánea, Conde Duque Madrid, Museo ABC Madrid, Matadero Madrid, Ivorypress, Fundación Ortega-Marañón, CSIC, PhotoEspaña, as well as in National and International Contemporary Art Fairs such as ARCO, Pinta London, Art Lima, Estampa, Arte Santander, SUMMA and Open Studio Madrid, among others. He has obtained several grants and artistic residencies, developing projects in the High Arctic, with The Arctic Circle Foundation, with Ignasi Aballí in 12 Miradas_Galería Vilaseco (Coruña), in The Grand Theatre (Calgary_Canada) and with Peter Marigold in CA2M (Madrid). In 2023 I obtained one of the Contemporary Creation Grants from the City Council of Madrid.
His work can be found in important national and international private collections, such as the Pilar Citoler Collection, Oliva Arauna Collection, Studiolo_Candela Álvarez Soldevilla Collection, Kell ́s Collection, Alicia Aza Collection, Civit Collection, Casa de Indias and Francisco Cantos Collection, among others.
Founder of WILL, a pedagogical space for meeting and creation for people between 7 and 12 years old, towards a slower and brighter future, more committed and that makes things better. Co-founder of AKAestudio, Architecture and Design. From 2005 to 2015 developing projects related to housing, retail, ephemeral spaces, scenographies and interior design in its widest scope.
He has worked for the Ministry of Culture, the National Library of Spain, Fundación Ortega-Marañón, Converse, MUJI, FC Barcelona, VITRA, Carhartt, Fay, MAJE, Telefónica, El Corte Inglés, Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España, Marc Jacobs and Davidelfin, among others. Since 2009, she has been teaching on the Master's Degree in Retail and Commercial Spaces and the Master's Degree in Creative Management at Elisava Barcelona. In the Degree in Interior Design, as Director of the Master in Interior Design of the UEM, as well as part of the teaching team of the Master in Creative Direction for Retail of the Istituto Europeo di Design IED.
