Renovation Color
During our last stay in NY state, we lived in the countryside, in a recently renovated house from the 70s. The old houses that are refurbished in the area are painted ―for the most part― in a gray-blue color that has been colloquially called "renovation color", making recognizable the numerous houses that have undergone some type of change, update or renovation. The imminent and long-awaited renewal of a country that demands a paradigm shift, through the flag, its most recognizable symbol/icon, and a color, the color which rehabilitated houses are painted with.
A series composed by 50 Annin* flags (3x5ft) - 1 per state - customized and painted with Benjamin Moore acrylic paint for facades.
*Annin (1847) is the oldest flag maker in the US
