Beatriz Dubois

Castellana 22, the new project of WeCollect Club, opens its doors with the exhibition Inside by artist Beatriz Dubois (Madrid, 1991). Beatriz uses photography as the basis of all her work, either as a final work, as a narrative or documentation tool, or as material in digital and analog collages. Both practices have the common goal of treating and illustrating topics of her interest and research, from essays or experiences, on the architectural distributions of spaces and mental spaces of the human being. She considers that her work is not the realization of the final piece as such, but a learning process that becomes the work itself. Graduated in Advertising and Public Relations, and with professional experience in the field of communication and cultural management, since 2010 Beatriz Dubois has deepened her knowledge of photography, art history and contemporary art through various courses at the Saatchi Gallery or Central Saint Martins College in London.
