K1WY (Lleida, 1998) dedicates his day-to-day life to painting, tattooing, and above all, having fun. Since childhood, he has had a great interest in expressing his ideas freely in the streets, avoiding the limits imposed by paper and taking advantage of the controversy and social rejection that graffiti entails. He learned to draw, animate, and paint self-taught from his teenage years, consolidating his knowledge with studies in Animation and VFX. After four years spent in front of many screens, he decided to step away from the digital realm for a while, finding in painting his means of expression, first on walls and later on canvas, through skin, and finally in video. The apparent banality of his works connects with a reflection on the inherent anguish of loneliness and other states of mind. Behind the pseudonym K1WY lies a disturbing and critical essence that directly challenges the viewer.

The exhibition 'Ye ye super ye' alludes to life, to love — romantic and not so romantic —, to friends, and to loneliness, making a study of the mind and the subconscious at the same time. It is a journey through repeated thoughts, all overlapping with each other. All these themes are treated with sarcasm.
